Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he will take a similar approach to managing Liverpool as he does with his wife.
The German coach’s reign at Liverpool finally took off this weekend as the Reds thumped Chelsea 3-1.
And Klopp was quick to point out the impatience of English football by comparing his work to his marital life.
‘I can’t believe that here it is so impatient. It is much more difficult,’ he said after the match.
‘I have been here three weeks. I don’t read newspapers but everyone tells me “you want to buy this player, this player, this player”.
‘But development is to work with the players you have. It’s like if you have a problem with your wife, you don’t want to change every day! You just work and work and get better.’

Klopp was quick to rule out the possibility of a title challenge after their win at Stamford Bridge and believes that there are plenty of improvements to be made.
‘You don’t think about the summer of 2016. I don’t know what will be there,’ he added.
‘We have to try and work and get closer and see what we can achieve.
‘We have to improve everything and then we can talk about where we will be in the table but, at this moment, in November, we can’t talk.’
