Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is hopeful forward Roberto Firmino will be fit to return for the final match of the season at home to Middlesbrough on Sunday.
The Brazil international missed last week’s win at West Ham with a muscle injury and has not trained with the squad this week but Klopp is optimistic about him being available.
The German boss must decide whether to gamble with Firmino or to stick with Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi up front, who played in the 4-0 win at the London Stadium.
The Reds may opt to go unchanged, with Georginio Wijnaldum and Emre Can providing the energy in midfield, while the likes of Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho were able to create chances in the final third.
Victory for the Merseysiders will confirm a top-four finish and their place in next season’s Champions League.
So, with Firmino in mind, who will Klopp select for the Reds at Anfield?
