Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has denied accusations that he posted naked pictures of an ex-girlfriend on the internet.

The Italian striker, 25, is currently on loan at Serie A side AC Milan after failing to justify the £16million transfer fee that Liverpool stumped up after returning with just one Premier League goal under the stewardship of Brendan Rodgers.

And now the controversial footballer is facing the prospect of being sued after an unnamed woman who is described as ‘in her forties and has a child’ by The Sun has been left traumatised by the incident.

‘My client has been left severely traumatised. She couldn’t believe it when she saw these intimate pictures had been posted online,’ said the woman’s lawyer Giovanni Tonelli.

‘She asked for them to be removed but they were still being shared.’

This isn’t the first time Mario Balotelli has hit the headlines when it comes to high profile relationships. The 25-year-old was previously engaged to marry Fanny Neguesha before the pair split in September.

Fanny has since been spotted partying with the likes of Lewis Hamilton before dating West Ham midfielder Cheikhou Kouyaté, a relationship confirmed by the model on Instagram as she attended the Hammer’s 4-3 defeat to Bournemouth.
